Fishing Flamingo

Teri and I had a good fishing trip today thanks to Matt Cardella...
Fished flamingo...
...
dodged storms....swatted squitos ( despite 45% DEET! ).....
caught fish.....spooked fish....survived the ramp in overcast conditions(!)

saw dozens of redfish in probably 7-8 inches of water.  surrounded by schools of thousands of mullet.

fish were finicky for a while, then turned on after a light storm passed, tailing like mad!

The main impediment of the day was rain with electricity.  Predictably it was always either where we wanted to go or headed that way.

But a good time was had by all.
pics included....

Teri and a nice red held by ray... note foul weather gear... just after a downpour.

pretty calm... and really really hot... almost 93 degrees.  200% humidity
